Performance dogs need a full set of athletic skills including balance, body awareness and confidence. In order to achieve success we must then become our canine companion's personal trainer, looking for ways to help build on our conditioning and training programmes that brings improved performance and reducing the chance of injury. With this in mind learning how to prepare your dogs body to handle the tasks required durring competition and to and recover afterwards, is the key to long term success.

Proprioceptive training can improve strength, coordination, muscular balance and muscular reaction times. It is also linked with reduced risk of injury, body awareness, movement efficiency and improved performance.

Proprioceptive, strengthening exercises and Tellington TTouch ground work are aimed at improving all round performance, increasing body awareness, balance and co-ordination. As well as initiating a change in habitual patterns of behaviour.

We also use variations of this system as agility foundation training for puppies.

Available as one to one sessions or join a workshop and learn how to help balance your dogs performance.
